*sound of video games being played*...Oh SNAP! I didn't know you would be here so soon! Right right..the whole "how do video games influence cultural thing". Might as well start to introduce myself. My name is Mail Jeevas. I'm a gamer.  BIG gamer. Like...I don't leave my house a lot.  There are many things that influence culture around the world but there is one that stands out the most. Video Games. Video games have been around since 1972 and now, in 2100, they are just as important. Video games are not how they were back in 2010. In 2010, video games were only on consoles, a few having motion sensors. Now, in 2100, we have virtual reality helmets that put us INTO the game. You have a choice of whether buying one helmet and playing on your own, or going to one of many game arcades to play with friends and strangers. Sure...this may sound like the kinds of games you have now...but with ours...the virtual reality can connect people from around the world. You can physically meet people in the games. You have the ability to meet complete strangers who live in Japan, or Ireland, or Italy, or even Sweden. I have many friends all over the world because of these virtual reality helmets.
